Every summer, the city of Port Coquitlam organizes a season-long series of free outdoor concerts held at the Leigh Square Band Shell. Performances are held on Saturday afternoons and feature local talent. Past concerts have included metal bands, a youth orchestra and Jazz trios.

Visitors to Port Coquitlam can join residents for some free outdoor music every July and August. The free, music series is held in Lions Park, alongside the scenic Coquitlam River, and runs from 2-4pm on Sunday afternoons.
