    Grocery Hall of Fame
    Step back in time to the days when shirts cost 98 cents and soda pops were kept in oak iceboxes. A homage to the general store, this quaint museum is filled with old advertizing posters, vintage tin cans and unopened packages from the turn of the 20th century. Free admission.     Roedde House Museum
    This museum has been fully restored to its late Victorian splendour. Designed by the famous architect Francis Rattenbury the house is Queen Anne Revival style. The houses garden has also been authentically landscaped to reflect the time the house was built. Roedde House is part of Barclay Heritage Square that includes 9 historic homes.

    New Westminster Police Museum
    Opened in 2001 as part of a new police facility, the New Westminster Police Museum showcases items the police service has used in its history of over 100 years including a 1958 Harley Davidson, a replica jail cell and various firearms. The museum is open to the public seven days a week during normal business hours. Free admission.

    Asian Centre
    Opened in 1981, the Asian Centre provides a focal point for sharing information and ideas across the Pacific. Exhibitions will only be considered if the works are of an Asian technique or of an Asian theme.     Vancouver Maritime Museum
    The Vancouver Maritime Museum focuses on the Pacific coast's maritime history, culture, technology and art. Visit the RCMP schooner St Roch, the first ship to make a return trip through the Northwest Passage. For children there is the 'hands on' Maritime Discovery Centre, and various other exhibits showcase various types of shipping topics in the region, including shipwrecks, lighthouses, pirates and deep sea exploration.

    Steveston Historical Society Museum
    The Steveston Museum is located in the first bank built in Steveston. The brightly coloured 1906 building houses a collection of pioneer memorabilia.     Mackin House Museum
    This early 1900s heritage home houses many artifacts and displays pertaining to Coquitlam's early history. The house was built in 1909 as a residence for Mr. H. J.     Model Ships Museum on Granville Island
    The Model Ships Museum is home to an impressive international collection of model ships, submarines, battleships, warships and toy boats. The Ships Museum features large scale models of HMS Bounty, Bismark, nuclear submarines, aircraft carriers, warships, sailing vessels, and various coastal work boats and tugs. A hobby enthusiasts dream. The showpiece of the museum is a 13 foot long cast bronze replica of HMS Hood.

    Canadian Museum of Flight
    The Canadian Museum of Flight has over 22 aircraft transcending the history of aviation. Aircraft include a DC-3 airliner, Lockeed Starfighter jet and a Lysander - used to drop agents into enemy territory during WWII. There are also helicopters, and even biplanes from the WWI era. The museum also has a great display of models and various aviation memorabilia. The gift shop here is a must for every aviation buff.
